Volunteers Needed for Major ILCA Events in Melbourne

Volunteers at SYC for 2020 Events

ILCAVIC welcomes the support of volunteers from the Australian ILCA community to assist us deliver the Big regattas at Sandringham Yacht Club (SYC), Melbourne:

• 2026 Performance Sailcraft ILCA Victorian State Championships 21-22 Nov 2026
• 2027 Performance Sailcraft ILCA Oceania & Australian Open & Youth Championships 1-8 Jan 2027
• 2027 Performance Sailcraft ILCA Under-21 World Championships 10-17 Jan 2027.

Volunteers are needed to assist with on-water and off-water roles.

• Measurement
• Registration desk
• First aid station
• Car parking attendant
• Beach marshall
• Media boat driver
• Safety boat driver / crew
• Start and finish boat crew
• Coach registration
• Jury assistant
• Scoring assistant

A commitment across the whole regatta period is not necessary (but welcomed).
